2. What happened to the MUIR family ?

Sinclair and Margarets 4th child , Mary Plowman married George MUIR in Orange in 1968.  Their first 4 children were born in Orange, one unnamed and still unknown. (It is possible that this childs name may also have been Alexander) .

Mary and George then moved to Newtown, Sydney wh
ere Margaret and Barbara were born.

Alexander died at 1 year of age, however of the 5 remaining children , we have been unable to find no marriage or children born to them and they all passed away in Sydney. Barbara MUIR was the last to pass away noted to be a spinster at the time.

We also kn
ow that the MUIR family had a connection with Jessie PLOWMAN (GRANT) . Keith Parsons provided this invaluable photo of the  house at 14 Gilpin St (with the MUIR ladies pictured) from Jessies collection at the reunion.

We have also recently discovered that the Administrator of Barbara MUIRS estate was Gwynneth L PARSONS, who was Jessie PLOWMAN'S grand daughter. Gwynneth also inherited the house from the Muir family.

Check the chonology research file in Mary and Georges folder in the private archive.

Who was the unnamed child? Was there also an Alexander from this family who was listed in NSW BDM as living in Newtown too? Did Clair, John jnr or any of this family get married or have children? If so, where are they now ? Can you recall any stories about this family that might provide some clues?
